Buying new camera (Need help)

Hi,

I am novice in these area & looking for point and shoot camera.

Found 2 model Digital IXUS 265 HS & PowerShot SX600 HS and cant decide which one to go.

Pls kindly advice or is there any better camera at the same range(Between $200-$400)? Thanks for the help in advance.

You are looking for superzoom cameras? Both cams are having zoom range at 12x and 18x respectively. I think only the zoom reach set them apart, other than that just 2 low end small sensor cams.

if you are due for an phone contract renewal, better consider the new range of phones coming or in the market than the pns you have listed. PnS role, IMO, has been taken over by phones now.

Thanks for the suggestion but not looking at phone as camera for now.

Any camera model can suggest if the model list is not good at the price range?
