Hi all,

Is buying a complete package from shops in Sim Lim (such as PC Themes) advisable? For example:

ASROCK LGA1150 THEMES 2 - INTEL I3 4160 3.6GHZ 3MB $840

ASROCK H97 PRO 4 MAINBOARD
KINGSTON 4GB 1600 DDR3 (4GBX1Pcs) MEMORY
TOSHIBA 1TB SATA3 7200RPM HDD
LG 24X OR SAMSUNG 24X SATA DVDRW
ASUS GTX 750 2GB O.C DDR5
THERMALTAKE SE 630W POWER SUPPLY
THERMALTAKE URBAN S21 ATX CASING

Are these generally well-configured? Can ask for more discounts? I don't know anything about computers so I'd rather pay slightly more for some experienced persons fix it up on my behalf.

Look for Fotran or GS instead if you have no idea to install OS and all.

Ur budget ? Need OS monitor ?

Fortran was recommended to me by a friend who bought a $3000 PC, but I heard he's been busy recently. In any case, my budget is about $800 so I'm not sure if he'd be too keen to take time off for such a low end PC.

I don't need monitor/speakers/keyboard/mouse, but I need an OS. And it'd be great if the case was as small as possible.

Not too picky about graphics - just using it to play CSGO, Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite.

Just ask loh. Fortran is highly recommended. Did my first custom DIY PC way back in like 2009 I think and then another PC in 2012.

Hi! Your suggestions have been most helpful.

I think I will go for the third option with the mini-ATX casing.

Thanks so much!

Please remember to use the Molex to PCIe 6-pin power connector for graphics card.
