Tax refund ... You have to spend minimum amount ... at least 2000b
then go to the departmental store to prepare the documents
then you have to go to the airport (before immigration) to process
then you have to go to the tax refund counter (after immigration) to get your cash back

If you spent about 100sgd, normally would get back about 3sgd ...
cox there is admin fees for the procedures ...
really think is not worth to claim that few dollars, after going thru many stages.

Not really, in my past 10 visits at least, no queue at all of the procedural locations that u mentioned, furthermore all of the locations are along the way, not as though purposely need to go to another location.

Not sure if ur experience is the same, woman buying brassieres would usually land in the few hundreds range, a simple piece would have cost $100 (2500B) already.

Anyhow, we claim tax refund for other dept purchases as well. Usually our tax refund amount would be $100+. So unless most of ur purchases are made in platinum mall, personally I think still worth it.

Selina brand there is much cheaper. It's their local brand equivalent to Triumph. Provided designs are liked by your SO.

Curious why it matters to you how much others spend and how much effort others want to put in to get the tax refund or not? I would think MYOB applies here.

i think dede just being helpful to provide info for the rest as well as ts? he/she nv even force the person to say how much she spend.. just giving a rough estimate to show how much the tax refund is.
