Buzzing Sound in Speaker

Hi all, first time posting and not really sure where to post this but...

I recently bought a pair of KRK Rokit 6 G3 speakers and is connected directly to my motherboard green port out but the speaker constantly have a buzzing sound. Speakers are connected from motherboard via RCA cable.
Tried a few troubleshooting methods:

- Changing the RCA wire = Still buzzing
- Connected to my Moniter Audio output = Still buzzing
- Connected my power supply of my speakers to different power outlet = Still
buzzing
- Connected to my phone = No buzzing
- Connected to my laptop = No buzzing

Quite annoying as this buzzing is not affected by changing the volume, just a constant buzz. I can hear a slight sound when i move my mouse. Anyone have a solution to this problem?

Either psu interferance or your mobo sound card sheilding not good enough.

Changing to a dac should work.

Try moving the speakers away from the monitor and see if it reduces or even stops. There is something interfering here.

If the KRK Rokit 6 G3 monitor stopped buzzing in another room without using the AC power outlet shared with the computer and LCD monitor, then your problem likely lies with grounding issue. The network of power cable working like an huge antenna picking up noises.

Try separating your power cords and audio cables away from each other to reduce interference, especially if you have bundled them together for cable management.

Update,

I tried to get a cheap external usb soundcard, the one from Ugreen, but it did not work. Plugged it into the front and back usb port, still buzzing

Is there a way to fix PSU interference? There is solutions oversea like removing the ground part of the speaker plug but isnt that dangerous?

Tried, moved my speaker further away from my table and even off my table, still buzzing

it could be the CPU power cable.

I never believed in expensive cables but my father then gave me a heavily shielded power cable and it solved my buzzing issues.. no joke.

Why don't you open up and check inside got any bad capacitors bloated.

Indeed. Hence my suggestion to separate power cords and audio cables from each other. Audio cables are highly sensitive cables and it can pick up electrical signals when they are close to power cords.

if your speaker dont support optical, some monitor has headphone out. You can set sound output via hdmi and connect speakers to monitor headphone jack
