The only way to beat the gov at their game for road tax is to get the EV with the cheapest available road tax - so that u can pay the least amount of tax to the gov, don't let them earn. However, that also means u need to accept a car with low power within Cat A range. However, come to think of sg roads is mostly start stop traffic jams, u don't lugi much.

I am curious why people would still consider to get Tesla when the brand and it's owner is ostracized by everyone in USA, Europe and even China. Can Tesla still survive as a company in the next couple years? I am surprise nobody has sued Tesla about its FSD vaporware in the US. It used to be a great company but the recent antics of Elon Musk has jeopardize the future of Tesla.

Actually there many cases already in proceeding in USA but so far seem like not actual big claim successful as Tesla defense it as timelines as "aspirational goals" . No doubt FSD is not at most ready but in many youtube or actual news people already using it as thou it full self drive. I think BYD already running in china with their God eye FSD but tesla fsd not yet approved in China

anyway u will know if u own it.. either hate it or buy another brand ,each have it own supporter
u want ICE car like familiarity EV, BYD, Xpeng, Zeekr, Aion, Toyota, Mazda, Subaru etc
u want sporty drive EV and Germans legacy, BMW or merc, VW or skoda
u want constant update in software and supercharger across border then tesla (maybe soon China brand catching up)

but take note the majority EV model don't last 2 years, they keep refresh very fast so is deprecation but anyway our Coe could tank this as it limited..

actually u dun really beat govt lol.. buying a car u already giving extra to the rest of less beneficial Singaporean as subsidies like concession for transportation and others help (google use of COE by sg govt).. as say you could own a car mean you are sort of pretty well to do already unless for other reason..

more power HP mean more tax and even more beneficial to the less fortunate people in the society or maybe lol.. so think positively and drive responsibility
