1) You sure you never accidentally or purposely disclose any classified information on the world wide web in a public forum? You do not needs to answer me because I caught you before but did not list out in HWZ.

2) I personally feel that this piece of information is able to give without risking the security of the nation. Those who quote their posting unit & vocation have greater risk compare to my piece of information which I am wondering why you did not feedback to them? Maybe you have forgotten that the lowest form of classification is still classified material too.

oh so you are now disclosing classified information on the world wide web in a public forum??? (The lowest form of classification is still classified material)

1) Ok so you admitting that you did? Instead of saying I did without proof, please provide some examples. A friendly reminder is always good.

2) What you feel may not be what "THOSE PEOPLE UP THERE" feel. Well, you've got a point there. BUT the difference is, your information is only available on the intranet and it is so for a reason, while those posting orders are available on the WWW.

Those posting orders are given to individual & for their convenience which is the reason why it is on WWW. It is never meant to be share with any person or even to be post on forum.

WOSE's Directory Of Vocation (DOV) is never meant to be in WWW because most of the time, the serviceman do not require this information. However, it is accessible to those who have an OA account which mean open to almost all Regulars & some NSFs like ASAs to provide answer to those servicemen who needs it like Rifleman which is the same logic like leave application.

I am a Air Force driver by vocation and PES A. There are C9L3 drivers in my camp also. 5 more mths to ORD.

Some facts:

1. Not all driver vocations are stay out, depends on your unit. If you are in transport hub then most likely no stay out.

2. Driving course in SAF is class 3/4 if you pass. Total 8 attempts, you fail by 8 attempts prepare to OOC.

3. Not all units will give you the opportunity to clock 7000km. Even if you clock 7000km, it depends on what type of vehicles you use to clock 7000km. If your camp all class 3 vehicles like mine, then you can forget about converting your license to class 4.

4. Once you have accident, GG to you. Confirm no license.

5. You cannot choose whether you want to be a driver or not. It is all up to SAF to decide because you sound like you can decide your posting.

I believe also depends on the S1 of the requesting unit. If a particular unit need driver, then they will allocate manpower lor.

My time, after my vocational training. A platoon of 40, and 2 possible unit for posting. How they do the allocation is 1st half of ppl from nominal roll will go unit A and the rest go B.

So no certain rules to follow de.

oh u meant that's ur excuses.

anyway what i mean am trying to tell alvintan89 is that if someone is willing to sign on, one have some opportunity of choosing what he wants to sign on as unlike people who's not signing on.

Why so concern about what you gonna do? just chill and get allocated lor. they will allocate you accordingly to your medical status

PES C grading will be followed by L-Code (Land Deployability Code) as follows:

L2 – Fit for most field duties. Can be deployed in Manoeuvre vocations of Brigade HQ level units and above, and/or Combat Support vocations in frontline units of Battalion and above, and/or Combat Service Support vocations at all echelons.

L3 – Able to bear firearms and operate in a field environment. Can be deployed in Combat Support vocations of Brigade HQ and above, and/or Combat Service Support vocations at all echelons.

L9 – Able to bear firearms and protect themselves, others and property. Can be deployed in Combat Support vocations in Main Support Area, and/or Combat Service Support vocations of Brigade HQ and above.
