Are you ok if shops low ball you ? They have rental and other variable costs and they need rooms for profit.

IMO not fair, for pro grade lenses often can sell $300-400 higher at least in Carousell.

Price won't be fair, I won't bother with them.
The cam workshop is selling a Panny micro 4/3 body more expensive than what I sold off in carousell in the previous year.
