Can anyone recommend a casing for this setup?

Hi guys,

Currently using NZXT s340 elite casing but will like to shift my Kraken x52 radiator from front pull to top push.

Setup is 8700k with MSI Z370 Gaming Carbon with an incoming MSI RTX3080 Ventus OC(hoping to get a vertical GPU mount setup).

Aiming for a mid size tower as have to under mount my standing desk.

The purpose for the change is to maximum airflow as well to fit the incoming GPU.

Any recommendations guys?

Change to front and top pull and back exhaust. Did that for me meshify c previously and works well.

any budget or space constraints?

feel most of the ATX mid tower cases with inbuilt vertical mount option usually sits too close to the glass/panel, so kind of defeats your intention of giving it cooler air it cant make use of.

end up probably need to get those vertical gpu brackets (many brands to choose from) that mounts the gpu in the middle.

Edit: case can consider corsair 4000d

can consider meshify C, Lancool II mesh, o11 mini, if on budget, maybe tecware forge or forge M

All the options are great but I just realised my CPU mount has a limitation of 533mm height and 203mm width. That might be challenge to get the right casing.

The Tecware Forge M seems to be just about right.

I wish i have all the money to spend on a casing but hopefully to keep it to $100-$250 depends on the looks.

I am just thinking with the GPU vertical mount, it might give more space to dissipate the heat. Am I wrong?

It is looking like 4000d is just slightly too big on the width.

i just bought the forge M white rgb. at 69 bux.
imo its great feature/performance/value for generic users like me

Take note [Tecware Forge M] is a mATX case, I believe your mentioned MSI z370 Motherboard is ATX. shld be looking at is the [Tecware Forge], but even that case is too wide @225mm for your computer mount.

Mine is a MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon, i believe it is an ATX board.

your current NZXT S340 elite is already on the slimmer side with width 203mm. Not sure how much more room or adjustment you can make on your table mount to accommodate a slightly wider case.

Think Lian Li [Lancool 205] with Width at about 205mm might work if you can squeeze in the extra 2mm.

Can always get a vertical GPU mount bracket accessory if you want to go vertical.

Is Lian-li Lancool 215 a good option, can the kraken x52 be top mount in this casing?

No issue with top mount AIO, a lot of case with dual 120 fan support at the top should be able to take 240mm AIO. just take a look at the spec from the website and pictures to confirm.

Determining factor I feel will be the width of the case that narrows your choices so you can fit it into your existing mount.

Can go on youtube to do more research, like tech Jesus and a few tech channels have video on cases and recommendation
