Is amazing the sample results ...quite chun ....roughly estimate correct the final results...

It is not amazing , it is elementary statistics, anyone who took stats in O or A level can calculate that easily

I suspect pap ppl tell voters to cross out who they do not want in parliament. Thus 70% cross out the pap hence they get 70% votes. Pap ***** cunning!!

the answer is no.

i volunteered as a polling agent of WP for the marine parade GRC.
this year there was a change in ruling where a representative from each parties from each polling center can accompany the bus carrying the boxes to the counting center.

i volunteered to escort the boxes and the other WP polling agents stay behind with me to till 8.30pm to witness all the ballot boxes were brought up onto the bus without any incident. (the PAP polling agents all left earlier to go to their gathering point in some stadium in a car).

at 8pm sharp, the ballot boxes are sealed with all polling agents as witness. all the ballot paper are repacked into their envelops and sealed. these are to be brought to the counting center to hand over to the election officials there.

me, the pap representative and the 2 armed guards were seated at the back of the bus to ensure a clear view of all polling boxes in front of us.

once the bus entered the counting center, we escorted the boxes all the way to the school hall, where counting agents from both parties are there to count the votes. the only entrance to the hall are guarded by armed guards and only personnels with valid paperwork can enter the hall. there are volunteers from both parties to make sure that the process is fair.

hope that answers everyone's doubts

i am still confident that the ruling party cares about its international reputation to at least ensure the elections are held in a fair and transparent manner, witnessed by the polling and counting agents of all the participating political parties.

It's absolutely stupid to be fraudulent during elections. If one wants to be fraudulent, they should do it before elections

New citizens vote MIW.

Pioneer gen and silver-hair gen (majority of SG population current) vote MIW.

Civil servants vote MIW.

the young internet gen, contrary to popular belief they support oppo new to "smarter" and more "well-travelled" mindset, vote MIW.

swing voters couldn't care less and vote MIW.

in fact, oppo supports like me shld thank heavens that the results for places like hougang isn't 15% vs PAP's 85%.

in fact, with such overwhelming MIW votes, it's a miracle most oppos can still get 20 - 30%.
not sure who the new citizens voted for
but i did notice a lot of ppl voting with their passports (aka new citizens) when i was inside the polling center for the afternoon shift.

in fact, the last voter is a new citizen who only came in at 7.57pm and everyone (the presiding officers who worked the whole day and even the PAP polling agent sitting beside me) was going WTF!!!

more curious about the register of voters. how do we know it's one person one vote and not 2 or 3 for those with multiple properties. and who are the people who were not allowed to vote? etc. i also saw some voters came in with pink polling cards, unlike the ones sent to our homes.
