Hi Guys :

I just read from facebook Singapore Huawei user, Huawei HMS is still having issue after downloading petal search from Apps Gallery . There are still a few issue :

1. Google mail cant run
2. Singpass log in
3. OCBC bank log in
4. AXS machine online payment run .

Wonder when these issues will be solve....

I think the bigger question is how Huawei gonna get its 5/7nm kirin chips from since TSMC has been barred from making for them.

Yes that is the bigger problem than Google GMS.

It is said they may be able to launch Mate 40 series with limited quantity (around 8 million).

Huawei is a big company and of course it will still survive even if it gives up the phone business as its core business is still the telecom gears and enterprise networking stuff.

And Huawei can choose to use Qualcomm/MTK chips in their phones as well but then the competitive advantage will be less if compared to Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo.

of course Huawei will survive without Google. Huawei can survive just by its humongous domestic market, and obviously there's no Google in China.

as for whether Huawei will be competitive outside of China without Google, that remains to be seen. has anybody given figures out already?

for me its a deal breaker. no GMS, i won't consider. i got trust issues with China app market as well.

Sure can survive ah tiong market so big.
However I had the mate 20 pro, p30 pro, huawei mate 20x...these will be the last huawei phones ill ever use.....

even without GMS, p40 Pro+ already got 4.5 stars on gsmarena, so why can't HW survives without GMS?
