Hi guys, i am using a Asus P7H55-M/USB3 Mobo with some 2x2gb ram. Can i get Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866mhz to upgrade ram? I couldn understand the terms used like CL9.

Below is the ram part of my mobo

Memory Features

Dual-Channel DDR3 2200(O.C.) / 2133 / 2000/ 1866 / 1800/ 1600/ 1333/ 1066 support. Will it fit? I personally went down to Fuwell at sim lim, sales staff say wont fit, but couldn answer why it wont. Any kind soul can help me? gamxia

DDR3 DIMM right? As long as you were not looking at SO-DIMMs for laptop. To be safe you can remove your old ram and bring it down to compare the pins?

4 x DIMM, Max. 16 GB, DDR3 2200(O.C.)*/2133/1866/1800/1600/1333/1066 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel memory architecture
Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP)
*Hyper DIMM support is subject to the physical characteristics of individual CPUs. Some hyper DIMMs only support one DIMM per channel. Please refer to Memory QVL for details.
** To reach DDR3 2200 MHz, you are required to use with Intel Core i7/Core i5 CPU without iGPU and install a discrete graphics card. When using Intel Core i5/Core i3/ Pentium CPU with iGPU, the maximum memory speed supported is 1600+ MHz
***Refer to www.asus.com or this user manual for the Memory QVL(Qualified Vendors Lists).

can fit for sure. U dun need the pro series as it is more expensive for no reason. U dun need 1866mhz, 1600mhz will do. CL9 or CL11 wil do. Jus get the cheaper rams. Maybe crucial value ram w/o heatsink. Are you gonna remove ur old ram and replace or add on?

Yeah, once you have the specs in mind, I think it's better to run it by the folks here than let the shops decide on the specs/config for you.
