Can quote function be modified

with auto collapse ability ?

assume someone post a long thread then if i wanna reply in quote, the quoted long post will auto collapse when i click submit.

something similar to spoiler function.

sometimes, the scrolling can be way too long when reading the reply(when replies r below the quotes).

though some users r thoughtful of posting their replies above the quoted articles

some bozos do quote wall of texts or screens full of pics for no relevant reason. does make scrolling down annoying at times
