Can someone tell me

[rarenick]

Is redmi faster or Samsung Note 1 faster?

Now my father's Samsung Note 1 very laggy. I am thinking to sell away and give him my newly bought redmi.

What if I root it? Will Note become faster?

Redmi definitely faster. Battery lifespan also longer.

Internal storage wise. Note 1 win.

And of couse screen size too. But pixel density lose to redmi.

I hate Samsung note factory apps. They eat a lot resources. I think redmi not so bad right? Hence can perform better with lesser lag?

Batt wise I thought Note got higher capacity? How come still lose to redmi smaller capacity batt?

Just want to make sure it is better than Note before I give him further disappointment.
