I hear that you can express your interest for NSF vocation but whether you are deploy to be one is up to SAF.

In the new system, anyone can choose the available vocations but it depends on a few factors:

1) PES status - this will determine whether you are eligible for combat or service medic
2) Psychometric test you took during your CMPB check up
3) Your education background
4) vocations availability
5) SIT test results - you must at least not do terribly like refuse to participate and such.
