1. According to the Minister’s instructions, your application is eligible for processing if:
you have an offer of arranged employment, OR
you are a foreign national who has been living legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or an international student, OR
you are a skilled worker who has at least one year of experience in one or more of the occupations listed here.
2. If your application is eligible for processing, you must also meet the following minimum requirements to qualify as a skilled worker:
you have at least one year of continuous full-time paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment, AND
your work experience must be Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification list, AND

your work experience
your age
whether you have arranged employment in Canada, and
your adaptability.
oh.. unlike OZ, u need to submit your course descriptions to Uni to get adv standing.
don't worry if they grant u little credits, U can write in to fight for it.
bad thing about Canadian Uni is their admission req is pretty high.
if U are going for Bschool at UBC-Sauder ot SFU, without GPA of 3.5 its hard.
for Uni like Waterloo (renown is Math and Comp Sci), min A level requirement is BBB, does not gurantee admission still!
http://www.findoutmore.uwaterloo.ca/admissions/international.php?id=2
UofMelb, BCC gurantee admission liao.

cost of living in places like UWO are low, can go as low as CND$350 a mth.
certain place in US offer low income housing, and certain states have laws that offer property tax refund for renters!
if U let me know which major and I can give U some suggestion.
to have even the slightest chance of getting advanced credits, the course you're applying to has to be related to the diploma i have right? i do have a decent gpa but the course im interested in has totally no relations to my diploma course
do you agree that generally studying in canada is cheaper than in OZ?
oh and im interested in attending that education fair in february
