Cancellation my booking

Any idea if i do a cancellation my book from jetstar, will they send me an email for confirmation of cancellation ? cause i need support document to do claiming ...

Also i bought the jetstar AIG insurance, possible to claim the $ since i cannot go ?

Not sure abt the email part.

Regarding claiming, believe it depends on the reason and if that reason is covered by insurance. Go read up the files sent for the insurance.

I'm will ask the AIG about the claim. Last night called CS of JS and that pinyo don't really have much idea about the claim neither e-mail confirmation of cancellation cause without that legal document (pdf),
usually they will reject unless otherwise ...

Usually, most of the insurance that is provided during the booking is not comprehensive insurance. They will only cover when something happens when you are on/during the flight. It will shake hand with you and say good bye after you land/alight from the plane.

Do check the policy before you call them.

For cancellation of flights/trips that are by the pax, medical, death, official travel embargo (by gov), are just about the only legit reasons acceptable for insurance claims.
