Cannot access facebook on my Oppo

Hello android phone experts. I am using an Oppo phone. Today, I couldn't access facebook from the icon on my phone.

When I touch the facebook icon, I could log on to facebook but for a few seconds only before my home screen appears again.

I had erase the facebook icon from my home screen and upload facebook again from play store. But the same thing happened again.

Is my phone infected with a virus? Please help! Thank you.

most likely could be app incompatibilities issues (which is too weird) but im guessing maybe your phone have any system update or sercurity app might have kicked in to prevent the usage? or really just some apps issues.

so far another way for you to try out b4 reset is to go find a older verison of fb (google for the APK) and install into your phone to test it.

Usually is due to update and causes incompatible.
Even Huawei using same chipset different phone model also have this issue

Maybe you could uninstall the current app.

Go download the previous Facebook Apk versions > Facebook APK download

After install do go to Google Play Store and locate this Facebook App.
On this Facebook App on top right Menu (3 dots) click and remove the tick "Enable auto-update" where box is empty.
Remember not to do any (Auto/All) update on this Facebook App, until this is resolved.
