What I have learnt is that 太岁 actually represented by a planet which is Jupiter. Jupiter takes 12 years to go around the sun. Next year, Jupiter will be at the sector of "Tiger". Opposite of Tiger is Monkey sign. So those who have monkey animal sign in their bazi will have clash.

The above image is called 24 mountain. Used for Feng shui purposes. It contains 12 earthly branches and 10 heavenly stems, same as bazi. Next year, Jupiter will be position at NE3, opposite of NE3 is SW3. Which means the house fengshui sector of SW3 or the facing/sitting of the house, those who live in it, won't have a good year.

Base on what I learnt, 太岁 actually used on feng shui but not on human. Just that human also have this character in their bazi, so that's why people will say, next year you will clash with 太岁 etc.

My friend working oversea never pray to taisui whereas my mom pray for me almost every alternate year. He is doing better than me, this year still got simi 6k covid bonus for coffee.
