funny. haha.

Anyways patriot, it depends on what you really want in a camera. are you looking to shoot still images/landscape photography or more of fast moving sports photography or even portrait photography?

the D5200 is slightly better in terms of low light shooting as well as higher mega px count. the canon 700d seems to be more gimmicky with touchscreen functions/larger viewfinder as well as easier menu controls.

ultimately, like what the others have said before, it's more of the user of the camera rather than the camera itself.

What does this "want to feel the powerful" ?

Buy high-end model and feel the weight with super tele or zoom lens mounted ?

can't go far wrong with either one. since both nikon and canon products are quite up there in quality and performance. look a bit further on the price of the accessories like lens and flash/speedlight if you continue to upgrade your gears and go deeper into this hobby.

wanted a 100d and ended up with a 700d instead.

Good choice , price wise only S$100 to S$200 differences , correct ?

price wise is less than $100. rrp $999 vs $1099

its a no brainer unless ur priority is the size then go for 100d.

Please lah ... this line is usually for jealous people. Surrounded by people with better gears ... power is in the skill of photographer. Surrounded by people that take better photos, power is in the gears of the photographer.
