canon eos m kit 1 purchase

Hi everyone,

So I bought a canon eos m kit 1 today from GainCity.

Here is the review,

Canon eos m kit1
Tripod
Camera bag
Drybox
Cleaning kit
2 memory card, 16GB and 8GB
Camera Jacket

At SGD699

I then add on
a battery - SGD39
a filter - SGD8

Total is SGD746

May upload some photo of it after I get home later.

So I am new and would like to consult the pros here.
I intend to bring it along on my Norway trip. 2 weeks.

From my limited understanding. drybox is used to prevent fungus on the camera. However is it for long term storage only? Short term is it all right to just put in my camera bag?

Hope the camera come with updated firmware. If not, do update to the firmware.. it improves the initially slow AF speed.

i recommended a dry cabinet insteads of dry box..

Yes. The sales man mention about the updated firmware. I do not understand what's it for though.. Didn't know it would enhance the AF speed? Auto Focus, am right?

Yes, but forget about dry box, and get a dry cabinet instead.

On your trip, yes. Whenever it's not in use while at home, put them into the dry cabinet.
