Can't comment whether the camera is good...

But why do you want to get the camera from Gmarket, risk warranty issues, when it offers no price advantage???

Price same but package different. Canon $369 SRP is
- 1 x 8gb SD
- Original Canon Case

Gmarket is
- 2x 16GB SD
- Original Canon Case
- Extra Battery (Non-Original)
- Screen Protector
- Mini Tripod
- Cleaning Kit
- 1 year local warranty

By the way if get from shop will be 1 year warranty as well or longer?

I bought an Ixus 125 hs (Elph 110) from Adorama and shipped it in. Costs half the price compared to SG pricing but of course, I lose local warranty.

But hey, it's a compact, I think they are hardly defective out of the box. And I prefer last year's models compared to the new releases this year. Y? Just the Digic 4 vs 5 wins me over.

Btw, I also own an Ixus 240.

SkimMilk: I am interested to buy the f660 fujifilm camera from the website you mention (Adorama). It state that it covers 1 yr fujifilm warranty. So what's the difference from local warranty?

Diwi66, those are US sets, meaning the warranty is valid in the states only. You won't have warranty in SG.
