Canon refill ink bottle usage

I have a small question for experienced printer users. Can i use canon GL790 refill ink bottle on canon printers that uses
GL71 refill ink bottle ? What will happen ?

incompatible ink may
1. damage print head
2. clog the print head
3. affect the printing quality.
