Cant activate win8 (update copy)

Just installed win8 on a new hdd but realized i cant activate it cos its an upgrade copy... how ar? need to reformat with win7 (previous os) and do the upgrade again? any better solutions? cos i think my win7 is oem...

install bkt timah version then change the license to your original one.. Just make sure u have prove that its original
