Can't log into windows using onboard graphic

Hi guys, my situation is like this:

1)CPU suddenly shutdown. When restarted, monitor give me wierd colours of lines. Do some trouble shooting and found out is graphic card up lorry

2)Removed graphic card and attached my DVI cable to my mobo de output.

3)When I on the com, can on without any screen problem, but my cpu will always restart itself before it can load into windows.

Any solution to this? what setting must I change in bios to use my onboard graphic card while my sapphire card go RMA.

When I experienced this problem, I reformatted my PC and it was fine, the GPU also had no problem since I tested with another GPU as well and encountered the same thing

Can boot into Windows safe mode? Then uninstall your discrete graphics driver like AMD Catalyst or Nvidia's drivers. Maybe the driver is trying to talk to the now missing hardware and then crash.

As for BIOS, the exact setting varies between BIOS (Phoenix, AMI etc.). I think some are smart enough to auto, some set as enabled/disable, and some are set using a priority setting (discrete first, onboard second etc.). So check your mobo manual?

on the topic safe mode, i am not sure is it because of my new ssd, the bootup screen will go off in a flash, where i don't even have the time to see which button to press for it.

may i know which is the button to go to the windows startup option?

Yup can go save mode while using my graphic card. But the color theme also out liao, and amd catalyst driver was missing from my local file. I will do a reinstall tonight and see how it goes.
