(Solved) Can't Power on Desktop

Hi all,

I have a 2-3 years old desktop with the following specs:
1) Maximus VI Impact
2) Intel 4770K
3) G.SKILL F3-2666C11D-16GTXD
4) Gigabyte G1 Gaming 970GTX
5) Corsair AX860i

I've been using it with no issue(s) up to yesterday when I tried to power it on after coming back from a 4 days holiday.
Upon turning on the power, it is evident that my devices that were connected via USB were charging and the the lights on my motherboard were on.

However, I was unable to power it on via the casing or the motherboard.
I suspect the motherboard or the PSU to be faulty, however, cannot be 100% sure.
Hence, I hope to seek some help with regards to the problem I am currently facing.

Thank you very much :)

Edited: Found the issue (Solved)

Is the cable to your monitor loose? Please unplug and reconnect them again.

Hey man.

Nope, don't think that it's due to that as nothing happens when I try to power on the desktop (i.e. fans not moving, no lights from power button).

Thanks anyway :)

Suspect PSU dying, try jump start and see if work. If so, something short-circuited prevent the PSU from power up.

You're right!
I've just sent in for RMA but sadly they don't have any stock at the moment so I've gotta wait.

Thanks for your help!

How long have u waited already bro?
The guy told me that it's been >3 months since stocks for model came in. I didn't wanna accept a downgrade to a cheaper model, hence, I accepted to wait till an identical model arrives.

If its corbell, the previous two times that I went to RMA they never have stock. (x-series and platinum series)

Yup. No stock and sent me back empty-handed sadly :(
Just gotta do with my work laptop for now.
It's Convergent in my case. Haha

You should head down to SLS to hoot a Seasonic Prime 850w Platinum or Titanium to get your rig running. Sell your RMA unit upon return.

Me: ex-Corsair PSU users too, need RMA at 2nd year too.
