Can't see the extracted files...

normally, after i extracted the zipped files, i can see the extracted files. after pc running for few hrs, i extracted some more zipped files but can't see the extracted files. the only way to see the extracted files is either i go to view another location(folder or dir.) and comeback or reboot pc. anyone experience this before
