Capitaland deliver a pretty set of result for 2016. Q4 PATMI surged 73.8% to $430.5M, YOY. CAPL's Dividend has been on an increasing trend over the last 5 years. This year's DPU of 10c is an 11.11% increase over last year.

CAPL did some heavy shopping in Tokyo this morning. They bought 3 office building & a shopping mall in Saitama. For those of you who don't know where saitama is, it's in the suburb of Tokyo, where Croesus retail trust's biggest mall is located. I know becos I went there to take a peep at Mallage Shobu during my holiday in Tokyo.

For FY16, CapitaLand sold a record total of 12,789 homes. In Singapore, the group sold 571 residential units with a sales value of $1.4 billion.

The group also achieved a second consecutive year of record residential sales in China, with 10,738 units sold at a value of RMB18.1 billion or about $3.7 billion In FY15, 9,402 units were sold at RMB15.4 billion.
