烧乳鸽 is juvenile 18-25 days old pigeon before feathers fully grown. Farms breed domesticated white pigeon that is larger and produce more broods every year. Feral rock pigeon is too not suitable to be caged and less productive.

There is even farms that manually hatch and feed the baby pigeons, parent pigeons reduced to egg layer.

Some estates now already have clusters of pigeons and stray roosters/hens all coming together to jiak. Their menu nowadays is gardenia bread and cooked rice thrown all over the place somemore.

NParks maybe can use this to control the stray roosters/hens population also.
