I always wondered HK/ china 烧乳鸽 using what type of pigeons, is it same as what we see locally flying around?

I always wondered HK/ china 烧乳鸽 using what type of pigeons, is it same as what we see locally flying around?
烧乳鸽 is juvenile 18-25 days old pigeon before feathers fully grown. Farms breed domesticated white pigeon that is larger and produce more broods every year. Feral rock pigeon is too not suitable to be caged and less productive.

There is even farms that manually hatch and feed the baby pigeons, parent pigeons reduced to egg layer.
