Always been a fan of COE car. As long as you know what engines are reliable and durable, wear and tear shouldn't cost you too much. I pay lesser than a PARF car but get so much more. I.E my friend got a new kia cerato for 79k, 1.6l engine. I got a lexus IS250 for 58k, 2.5l v6 engine. Driving experience is so much better with the lexus.
New leather smell, collect key/car from center etc. All these experiences is priceless. Honestly i will also rather “pay more” to drive the kia cerato than a coe lexus.
New avante is quite nice
I have been driving a few cars from Parf to COE to new one. Overall boils down to luck and individual preference. All Parf cars end up lemon even for my first new car at 7th years...
Due to preference, I got my dream car which is a COE car and regretted to only renewed for 5 years.on the end of life, I trade in for a new car currently... earlier on I had the impulse to go court and fight for my car COE extension after 5th years...
looking back, the 2nd last COE car was the best and ultimate personal preference...
there isn't the best car recommendations out there. Very much depend on individual n u r spoiled for choices.
