Car vibrating

Hi all,

My car will vibrate when the car is stationary, engine and aircon on, on drive mode. The vibration came randomly.

But when I switch off the aircon, the vibration went away but could still feel a bit of vibration.

Anyone can advise what could be the problem? Engine mounting, ignition coil etc?

Hi,

air con on resulting in vibration could be a dirty idle air control valve. Also have your throttle body cleaned. Check engine oil level, spark plugs, air fliter.

Throttle body cleaned, spark plugs and air filter just changed few months back.

I also suspect engine mounting.
Could ignition coil contribute to the vibration too?

Likely aircon compressor, maybe lack of oil.

Lack of oil, the engine idling not so steady.

Fuel timing maybe low.

Probably engine mount. Not worth changing if less than 1 year to scrap. Does the vibration stop in neutral? If so, quite likely engine mount

agree with most. ts can be a few things. need to troubleshoot from intake to mounting.

ie... stationary and shifting p r n d with a strong jerking, very high chance mounting worn n need replacement.

else try to clean throttle and maf first to see if problem goes away.

best to bring it to a good mech, like lch, and let them troubleshoot. they are pretty good...

Yes sometimes when I shift gear, there is a jerk.

Throttle and maf have been cleaned.
