Careshield and DII plan

Hi,

Wanna ask if anyone is planning to reduce their existing DII plan with enhanced careshield?

Having this thinking since careshield seem to be related to DII plan coverage.

One is to provide care and the other is to provide income.

for different purpose and at different stage of life.

Care to elaborate more on this? I thought both also provide care and income in a way.

The claim requirement for CareShield is very high but the payment is too low for income replacement. It is mainly to cater to people after retirement.

DII is mainly for working adults.
