Hey there guys, am planning to get myself a pair of Carmina. Am wondering if anyone knows if there is any shops in Singapore that carriers Carmina? Or am i only able to get them through their website?

No shops in Singapore AFAIK. Nearest in Asia that I am aware of would be Armoury in Hong Kong.

Yup, no brick and mortar shop in S'pore. However, they have several online stocklists such as armoury (Hkg), skoaktiebolaget (Sweden), unipair (korea) and some other websites that dont ship to Singapore. The markup for these stocklists can be quite great but they do offer unique variations from the ones offered on the carmina e-shop.

All the best in your shoe hunt. Great value imo for their shoes.

Initially am having trouble deciding between Meermin and Carmina. But decided to go ahead and get a pair of Carmina instead as i have heard great reviews about it from people around me.

On a side note, someone should consider bringing in Carmina to Singapore.

Carmina is at a higher price point so quality should be higher (proportionately or not is subjective).

On the contrary carmina shouldnt come to Singapore as it will only raise prices further. And besides if it came to S'pore it would be too expensive due to import taxes etc.

Just look at the markup for septieme larguer singapore.

As for the comparison between carmina and meermin, I think carmina has nicer and more refined lasts and meermin doesnt come close in terms of finishing and consistency in quality.

Haha dont let me hold you back on meermin though. In such crappy walking and weather conditions in Singapore, i tend to buy more beater shoes. Meermin would fall into that category.

Aye ey! Wouldn't give them the death sentence so soon. There are still a few brands i would be comparing Meermin with for my july purchase. Alden, Grenson and Trickers are one of the few brands
