Carousell hit by data security breach, users' email addresses and mobile numbers exposed

Carousell are the most anal bunch. Always ban me sometimes eg: I write to someone selling baseball bat. Where to collect?
BOOM carousell either ban me or silence me so I can't respond to anyone. Caught a few times items PAID but Caroushit banned me, my items gone case.
I wish there was another platform so will boycott this for good

No wonder i keep getting emails from Gameforge telling me to reset my account. But i went to their website directly and there is no email/accounts i own over there.

Just a tip for folks who get such dubious emails telling you to reset your account, if unsure, just go to the stated site directly using your own browser, dont click the sus email or use their links

But nowadays the fake sms/ emails gt some very real

Lucky I did not have credit card detail, just received email said my data was breached.

Just received this email.

Our government too lenient. A year ago data breach happened at myrepublic.... everything from NRIC details, name, phone number, etc breached. With NRIC issue date and emaul address, one can take over singpass easily. I changed my NRIC at my expense. Usually the fraudster will not use the data for few years.....will keep a low profile and use it after few years. Utter nonsense this is happening.... and seems like government just gives a small fine....people have to wake up before it is too late.........
