Hi Guru

I need yours input and advise.

I am planning to get a gaming Pc this/next weeks. anyone actually bought a whole assemble with those free lancer / sales. I see some of the set are pretty attractive. i can't afford to buy from aftershock. just want to know how the experience dealing with them.

i do not know how to assemble myself and i do have butter finger, so its best i stay out of DIY.

Another option : i can buy all the parts from one of the sim lim shop. and have them assemble for me. Or buy parts from varies shop and have nigel (read from this forum, he is good) help me assemble.

i mostly use the pc for gaming on 1440p 144mhz. and Microsoft office stuff.

i have a budget that is not exceeding 3k, i do not need peripheral or monitor.

This is what i have in mind, i am looking a gaming system that run cool. On load CPU/GPU not go above 70 degree celsius. i am not sure if my pick is okay.

i am abit paranoid about using AIO, i know leaking is rare.. but i am still not ready.
i have not much interest to zeng my rig. Appearance is my last priority

Your GPU is like the most expensive out there...

For gaming, Ryzen is good but if your sole purpose is gaming, get coffee lake.

For your SSD get Samsung 960 Evo M.2

RAM get 3000mhz

Like what? Just get a MSI Gaming X, it's cheaper and runs cool and quiet.

Thanks for your advise . i am actually considering coffee lake too.. but i think might go over 3k.

Very unbalanced build. Ryzen 1600 with 1080Ti and DDR4-2400. Should be at least DDR4-3000 for Ryzen and and I would move some of the budget allocation for GPU to other components. Also, get a Gold-rated PSU. Should never skimp on that.

most carousell sellers are flippers. Just buy from shop and have them assemble for you. I think for PCT its $20, waiting time 2h.

Sorry, but you have to learn how to build desktop in the long run or buy gaming laptop. Carouseller cant be trusted and local PC vendors desktop in terms of specs/$ is damn cui.

would suggest tempered glass as arylic easily scratch other wise go for non glass or window case.

Look like blower card, it look very clean. But if u close the side panel. It might obstruct the card from blowing air in
