so i am building my rig in a nzxt phantom that i got second hand from some forumer. i just realised that i didn't get enough screws from the guy to fit all my fans. so if i was to buy new fans would the new fans come with screws to install or what. and if no where do i get these screws. also i heard that the nzxt phantom is not compatible with non nzxt fans, can i get some confirmation on that.

You can get the fans screws from chamoxa, qoo10 or even ebay.

As for compatibility, that is utter bullsh*t. As long as your case supports 120 or 140mm fan mounts, any brand 120mm or 140mm fans will fit in respectively. In my cases (Pun intended), cases that have mounts for 140mm will have mounts for 120mm fans.

thats nice to hear. gonna get everything up and running up in 2 weeks and need fans since nzxt put their top fans into exhaust and when i flip them over the new hole to fit the screws in isn't threadeddddd.

Dun really matter... My enermax advanced cluster also dun have threading in its plastic. Had to use the screws provided from my case to make the threading.

Also, i believe the guy who sold you the case may have shortchanged you. He may have took the screws out and used in his existing case. You can try asking him for it.

way too lazy to go look for him. also need opinions since you guys have the phantom case. if i were to go with the corsair fans should i go for the af 140 for my front fan and replace the two built in to the side window? and if i do so can i still use the fan controller installed on the case. also which 200mm fans do you guys suggest for the case? eyeing the bit phenix spectre.

Fan screws are self-tapping, you dont need existing threads to fit it in.
