Those brands u mentioned are selling for $59. I believe royfrosty has bought RGB leds, you can ask him or wait for him to spot this thread.

Your best bet is to custom made it instead.

A strip of rgb leds 1m cost the most $13/m unless single color could go as low as $8/m.

Connect it up straight to molex connector the most everything will cost $15. Can sleeve the ugly red black wires also.

Also looking out for LED strips for bias lighting. Possible to get it custom made to be powered via USB? Running out of 13A sockets and running a molex from the case will be quite inconvenient.

I've had gotten a few custom made ones over the years and just a heads up for all:

RGB LEDs are notoriously unreliable, regardless of the 3528 or 5050 sizes. The blue colour always have problems of premature burnout or dimming, screwing up the hues that use the blue LED. Note this always happens after a few months of use, the longest I've used before failure was one year. Not sure if the situation has changed since then.

If you want colour, better to get single colours. The White LEDs are great for bias lighting and if in sufficient density a 1M strip attached to point downwards from a overhead shelf is good enough as a study light.

Note that in all the above scenarios the LED strips were connected to a DC adapter and then to a 13A socket.

Get an NZXT Hue for $59 for pc casing, settle everything. I'm currently using NZXT Hue, just change to any RGBW or any intermediate colors with the turn of 3 knobs will do. If only wan LED strips, cybermind selling bitfenix strips at $15 for 30cm, chamoxa selling akasa strips at $19 for 40cm.

SLT still the best. The strips last longer also. And can customize the length you want.

im with Roy, i got mine from SLT also, apparently LED strips vary in quality as well, with so many types to choose from as well as the ease of customisability, i too feel that SLT cant be beat.
