Hi all, I am wondering what is the smallest standard ATX case that can fit the following:

MSI H97 MOBO
Palit GTX 970
Season M12II

Looking at Cooler master elite 310, anyone can give me advice on this?

eg , Is there other casing that would fit? or other components that can cause size issues?

Top on my list:CM-K350

Aiming to bring my rig overseas that is why i need it as small as possible. Thanks!!!:s12:

Take a look at coolermaster elite361.

k350 : 180 x 424.6 x 453 mm
361 : 150 x 368 x 464
a05 : 210 x 381 x 490

Please have a good cable management as it will be tightly packed.

thanks for all the help

the old A05 is only 26mm or 1 inch longer, the new PC-A05FN is 36mm longer. and these ~1" different make the Lian-li a much better case. this guy is using HIS HD7770 icooler which has a length of 212mm, look how much space is left between the card and HDD.

The issue with elite 361 and K350 to a lesser extend is the width. the 361 with 150mm width is seriously limiting the cooling of the case, whether CPU or GPU. the 150mm width limit the front and back casing fan to a mere 80mm; 3party high performance air cooler are all out, only the top has 120mm opening. imagine the temp inside the case when you game and prepare to hear the small fans screaming.

you only have to transport the casing once or twice but you will have to live with every time you want to use it.

Be mindful that the elite 361 cannot fit GTX970 without removing the HDD.

If you remove the HDD, you must find alternative way to fit your HDD.
