Flew business class to Bangkok via cathay recently ...
Sin to Bkk 1*2*1
Bkk to Sin: 2*2*2
Their Sin to Bkk seating plan is better

My friend flew economy ...
Sin to Bkk: screen is smaller, about 7 inch, aircraft not very new, still better to SQ
Bkk to Sin: Screen is bigger, about 9 inch, touch screen ...
aircraft is new ...

You are right, SQ uses older aircraft for bangkok flight
have taken SQ to bangkok, their boeing 777-200 aircraft, screen is 7inch
the sides of the aircraft quite yellowish ... old aircraft
once taken premium economy by SQ, the tv stand seems faulty ...

Cathay , Thai airways aircraft seems new ...
Their tv screen, especially TG Boeing 747 (about 10inch) quite big ...
SQ aircraft to Bkk seems to be a older aircraft ...

bo bian, so next best alternative is thai airways
since sq flight mostly quite old one ...

TG also old planes mostly for regional. But the noon flight from SIN, sometime 77w will operate. And in recent time, A350 was being used as they are testing their new planes on shorter distance first.

747 is old just that they refitted the economy seats in recent years.

didnt know they uses a350 .
would keep a lookout ...

normally would prefer a330 to bangkok, cox the side seats are 2 ...
if 3 people, very boring sia ...
want go toilet also very ma fan ...

Actually I don't like the idea of touch screen panels after a while it becomes unresponsive or slow. Quite common on CX flights to HK

Tried them twice...both to BBK and back Singapore flights delayed 1 to hours...never fly with them since.

weather is cooler than in singapore
didnt really rain much in the afternoon when we went shopping

How is the weather?

I'm in Pattaya now, weather is cooling with not much sun exposure as there's many cloud cover. Overall a pleasant weather and a great escape from the hot weather in Singapore~

Yeah, I feel A330 is a better aircraft too. My return flight was actually Boeing, but last minute change to A330 haha

Going Bangkok tomorrow, hopefully the weather stays cool during my stay in Bangkok but hope no rain at least

went to bangkok few days back only ...
is not hot as humid as in singapore ...
