It used to have a pedestrian path on JB side too until they made further changes. And no, most people who choose to walk aren't because of cost savings. It's the human congestion jam queueing for buses which can taken 1.5-2.5 hours.

The original, non-crooked bridge, was more palatable for pedestrians, if I remember correctly.

It was not designed for people in the first place. Both sides just close one eye when people started walking.

It's the ultimate chiu die chiur bizness there. o_O

There's a dedicated paveway for pedestrians who wish to walk back then. I still remember there's even a traffic light.
