Alevel CCB/D can go engineering NUS ?

Hi! I am interested to take up computer engineering in NUS but I'm not sure if I should actually try it if the chances are really low.
My results are
GP: B
PW: A
Chinese: C

H2 physics C
H2 chem C
H1 maths B

So basically, my rankpoint is 72.5, lower then the 10 percentile grade frm last year.

But I am actually quite interested in the programming part and also the hardware part where i get to learn how to create software and stuff uh, but with no programming background, I am at the disadvantage right? I also look at how practical the job prospect is, and computer engineering def is easier to find a decent job uh. Or am i wrong?

I am also quite interested in Mechanical but not sure if I will be able to cope well esp since it's more of physics and my physics concepts arent that strong. But then again, it's the outcome that i like, like how I'll get to build this and that and get to learn how to build things that interest me alot. Would this be good enough reason for me to actually pursue this? But damm my results cant seem to make it too.

Would common engineering NUS be of a higher chance for me or practically no chance at all? Since i can get to choose after first year.

I might have higher chance in NTU right? But honestly i really like NUS more and the kind of environment I study in, the culture and ppl there. But NTU aint that bad too though i dont really like the feel but thats prob not impt. In terms of curriculum, i think it's about the same so i didnt really go into it. Afterall, both has alot of foreign students right and is equally competitive. Right??

if u are really interested in programming & hardware part but cannot get into computer engineering, maybe you can consider electrical engineering instead. in computer engineering you have to take some electrical engineering modules and in electrical engineering you have to take some computer engineering modules. these 2 are quite closely related though they focus on different things.

mechanical engineering may seems cool at first but you have to ask around what most mechanical engineering grads work as and see whether you really want it..
