we can meet at library .

I dt know how much you pay for ccie training . but i think it's not worth it.

we can just learn buy ourself.

we have dynamips ,gns3,IOU, it's enough for ccie rs exam

Hi , I would recommend you to go for INE workbook and form a study group to speed up you learning.
Don't go for those training that claim to be sure / guarantee pass boot camp . There is no easy if you want to be a CCIE

Can I take CCIE direct?

Guys,

I used to be a CCNP and have about 10 years of experience in networking. Had to venture into project management during the 2009 recession, but I want to come back to networking.

Can I attempt to take CCIE directly, or is it advisable to go through CCNA / CCNP path again?

Will appreciate some suggestions.

Just purchase the server to install the Ubuntu and GNS3. It is running at i5 2550 and 4GB RAM

Now searching for the 2nd hand switches. I need 2 x 3550 and 2 x 3560.
Found a refurbished reseller which can offer good price.

Thinking to have a group buy to bargain on the better price.

The price he offered as below.

WS-C3550-24 SMI 24-10/100 + 2 GBIC ports: SMI
Around $140 ~ $150.

WS-C3560-24TS-S 24 10/100 + 2 SFP Standard Image
Around $650 ~ $700
