CDA Dollar Matching

Hi,

I received my CDA first step 3000. Let's say if i deposit $3000 to the CDA account today, then few days later i use CDA to pay for my infant care fee $1400. would i still get the $3000 dollar to dollar matching?

the dollar matching is regardless of amount used? only how much you deposit matters?

The matching is the amount you deposit. Even you use it straight after you deposit still counted.

yes, max match up to Sgd3000 only.

The $3000 can be put any time from now to child is 12 years old? Just that money will be locked inside?

how the account works is, you put money in, a few days later. the matching amount will be deposited by ECDA.

so lets say u deposit 3K, u will get the initial 3k + ur 3k, total 6k in the account now, then few days later, another 3k will come in. continue until the matching amount maxed or 12 years old. the matching is based on ur deposit

the amount you can just use right away. just need to note the matching amount is always a few days later, so sometimes cannot depend on it to come in time for GIRO or whatever.

you need to use the issued atm card if u intend to use at poly clinic or authorised places which debit directly.

Yes. But if your kid goes childcare, won't last long.

you can also use the money inside to see any CDA-approved doctors or polyclinic and some other places. just need to use the issued atm card.

confirm not enough one la..see doctor and blah blah..i top max olredi but still top up at least 200-300 every month to prolong it being empty so fast

1st 3k is lump sum deposit into CDA.

then you have up to next 3K for matching

so end of day, govt gives you 6k, 3k from your own pocket.
