CDP and OCBC BCIP...

Hi folks

Asking a newbie question here.
I have been buying some ETFs regularly with OCBC BCIP but I want to stop the plan for the time being. If I’m not wrong, I have to sell all my shares if I want to stop the plan and close the account.

My question is, can I open a CDP account first, transfer the shares to it, and sell it via a brokerage e.g. Vickers in future?

I thought u can just stop the plan but keep the account? Why have to close the account?

this is correct.

I stopped the plan...but my holdings still in there.
