I would like to stay in Cebu city. Thanks for the suggestions sinugba.

Was wondering should we go to stay at the resort for one night or just go island hopping.

Note that the resorts are mostly in Mactan unless you want to go farther in both wings of Cebu Island like Alegre, Malapascua Island, Badian, Bantayan Island, Moalboal or swimming with sharks in Oslob.

Mactan and cebu are just 30-45 minutes away so it's okay if you want to stay in Cebu and go to beach in Mactan during day time and join island hopping with the korean tourists.

Or get one night in Plantation Bay or Imperial Palace or Crimson Hotel or Abaca Resort. Quiet luxurious a bit but if it's just one night then should be affordable.

Another option is you can stay in cheaper hotel then use Shangrila facility during day time. You have to pay for the food, beach, and etc. You cant go wrong on this.

If you have time it's nice to stay one night in Bohol -- day tour around the island then stay in Panglao (alona beach) during the night. Alona beach is very vibrant, awesome public beach, and not expensive.
