Hi, Does anyone use crestar airis 5 ceiling fan before ? Or the crestar brand itself good ? Planning to buy one hood ceiling fan with lights. Or have any brand recommendations?

i got the hugger, becoz the rod might accumulate dust. but dun get efenz, i just used for few days in my living room, the airflow is damn bad. not sure is install problem, or living room is bigger. i stand below hardly feel airflow even at full power, even the old school KDK 46 inch have bigger airflow (i reused from old owner)....gotta open a service request for efenz to take a look

Currently using Crestar Valuair in my living and bed rooms. 55" and 48". Quite alright.

How can consumer know whether a product/device has undergone safety test and/or quality control?

Best to get some renown brands or brands that been in our local market. Nowadays the safety mark sticker also got fake ones

1. Is it quiet and windy?
2. The light possible to change myself easily? sales man claim this model easy to change. I saw review for B-star the lights are proprietary so cannot ownself change.

Saw many comment in facebook. Most has issue to get it repaired when fan get into trouble. Reason seem always model is old, cannot get spare parts. But the owners seem using it for less 2 years.
