Hi everyone.. I just receive a ** message..

May I know what is cell broadcast use for in SG?

That should be the base station id

I think my previous phone had settings to receive it that but never received before.

Basically phone will receive a message to show ur location. Probably based on where the Base station is located at. Used to see it on my ancient 2G phones.

Should be whether the telco broadcast the message. I am on starhub never receive.
