CFX for Radeon 6950

Hi guys,

I own a Sappahire Toxic 6950 and I've decided to cfx it with another 6950, however currently what I can find now is another edition of Sappahire 6950.

The clock speed on mine is 880mhz and on the other hand 800mhz, not to mention the video memory 5000mhz vs 5200mhz.

My question is am I able to overclock the second card to run at the same as my toxic to maximize it's full potential without much trouble?

I do o/c my toxic up to a whooping 962mhz clock speed, will the second card be able to catch up?

It will probably most like work BUT in xfire if you put your fastest card as master card, most likely it will follow your slave card speed.

IF you put your fastest card as a Slave card. Your master card wont work properly.

Imo, not worth to xfire it now. The most the performance can give you a single 7950/7970 performance.

You are better off getting a single card.
