PDPA still can take ur IC to check. just they cannot keep a record of it only, other than maybe your last 3 digits.

Only QR code is accepted. I was at Causeway Point Challenger and the cashier said I had to scan the QR code on the screen so that I could log into my membership. No other means is accepted.
