Change laptop HDD to SSD

Anyone here change their lappy HDD to SSD?
thinking of hooting one 60GB to use since my laptop only do web surfing and microsoft office work.
The only problem now is i want to install a fresh window 7, the laptop now is already win7 home premium but with alot Dell rubbish, anyway to burn the win 7 out without all those dell software and install into the SSD?

U got recovery disc? Prob can request for such disc from Dell at a low cost which u can legally install your OS into the SSD without incurring the wrath of Microsoft's anti-piracy policies. ;)

i can burn the image out since there is a problem by dell within the computer to do so but how can i do a clean install with the recovery disc?

another way is to download a clean retail copy of win 7 hp from website (not pirated)...when you install, use the original cd-key thats pasted under your laptop...it will register as OEM....I did it with my Asus N46VZ... no issue...then download drivers from dell website or if given any drivers cd from dell can just use...shud at least get 120gb since price already drop...just my 2 cent...

will get a 60gb first, if not enough will get a 128gb and put the 60gb into my desktop

Bringing up this old thread to check if there is anyone providing this service to convert HDD to SSD + port all my old stuff over/installation??
