Can.. As long the old line is not under any bond. If not you have to pay the penalty.

Not sure which telco you will be considering, if its SingTel then there should be no issue. Just proceed down to any SingTel shop and tell them that you would like to do a mobile number port from ______(old telco) to SingTel.

You may need your dad to be there personally. However, if policies has not changed, you might be able to proceed with just an authorization letter from your dad stating that he is giving the consent to port over and allowing it to be under your name + a photocopy of his NRIC.

Just a sidenote, as per mentioned above, do ensure that you are free from contract from your previous provider, else penalty will be charged by your old provider.

Do consider taking up the SingTel 4G service
